HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – The 2022 Charger Open golf tournament at the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) is scheduled to be played on Monday, June 13.

Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the UAH Athletic Department and the UAH Early Learning Center’s RISE program.

“We think this is a great opportunity for our fans and partners to come together for a fun day on the course with our coaches and staff,” said UAH Athletic Director Cade Smith.

The draft format tournament will also have an online auction that includes signed memorabilia, game day experiences and a weekend in Charleston, South Carolina.

The tournament will take place at the Highland Course in Hampton Cove, followed by an awards ceremony and barbecue.
