After successful fall programs, Cumberland golf coach Rich Williams has announced the spring 2022 season for both men and women.

The men will debut at the Kinderlou Forest Spring Invite in Lowndes County, Ga. On February 21-22. On March 7-8, CU will travel to Pine Mountain, GA to participate in the Skyhawk Invitational hosted by Point. During spring break, the Phoenixes will travel to New Orleans as part of the Wolf Pack Invitational and close out the regular season in Crossville during the Mid-South Conference Spring Invitational.

The women are expected to start a week after the men at Showdown at Legends in Myrtle Beach. Cumberland will travel to Georgia to participate in the Golden Tigers Collegiate hosted by Brenau. The women will travel to Gulf Shores on March 14 and 15 to take on tough ground at Carey Collegiate and also close out the regular season in Crossville during the Mid-South Conference Spring Invite.

The Mid-South Conference Championship will be held at Bowling Green Country Club on April 25-26 for men and May 2-3 for women. Both teams are looking for a return trip to the NAIA National Championships in May. The men’s championship will be held at TPC Deere Run (Illinois) from May 17-20, while the women will play for the chance to go to Lincoln Park West Course (Oklahoma) from May 24-27.
