Frilford Heath will host the England Trophy presented by Rocket Yard Sports Marketing when the European Challenge Tour returns to UK soil from September 8-11, 2022. The event will take place on the Frilford Heath red course, which has hosted several top events level over the past decade, including the 2013 English Amateur where Callum Shinkwin beat Matt Fitzpatrick in the final.

The red course has also hosted the 2018 Brabazon trophy, the qualifying school for the first stage of the European circuit since 2011 and the open regional qualifications since 2016.

Frilford Heath, founded in 1908, has three 18-hole championship courses; the red, blue and green that offer golfers of all levels a true test.

Eddie Pepperell, who won the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters and Sky Sports British Masters in 2018, learned his trade at Frilford Heath and still retains close ties to the club, having opened; the yellow par three course in 2018.

The yellow course is designed to help the development of all golfers, from the club’s top talents to those just starting out on their golf journey. The event will be organized in partnership with the Clutch Pro Tour, which offers an inclusive program with a mix of male and female professional golfers and some of the best amateurs in the UK.
