By Clark Mindock (March 11, 2022, 4:49 PM EST) – A Georgia appeals court on Friday reinvigorated a golf club libel lawsuit against a disgruntled former member who tweeted for years alleging mismanagement and disparaging things like “dead grass” on the greens of course.

The court reversed a trial court’s summary judgment after finding that some of the claims filed by the owners and operators of the Golf Club of Georgia against former member Peter J. Ward were not only timely, but included factual claims that could theoretically be proven false.
