Section II

CADIZ – Beaver Local and East Liverpool will compete in Div. 2nd Boys Section Golf Tournament today at Cadiz Country Club.

The top four teams and four individuals from the unqualified teams will advance to the district tournament scheduled for Oct. 3 at Eagle Sticks.

One team and one individual from an unqualified team in the district will qualify for the state tournament scheduled for Oct. 21-22 at Ohio State University’s Scarlet Course.

More Div. The Boys Section II golf action will take place on Wednesday.

South Range and West Branch will be at Elms Country Club in Massillon, while Salem will be at Windmill Lakes in Ravenna.

The top three team finalists are three people not on the qualifying teams who will advance to the Windmill Lakes District scheduled for October 4.

The top three teams and three non-district qualifiers will advance to the state tournament scheduled for Oct. 21-22 at Ohio State University’s Scarlet Course.

Section III

SALEM – Div. The men’s Section III golf tournament is Wednesday at Salem Hills Golf & Country Club.

Columbiana, Crestview, Lisbon, East Palestine, Heartland, Leetonia, Sebring, Southern, United and Wellsville will be among the competing teams.

The top three teams and three unqualified individuals will qualify for the Tannenhauf Golf Club district scheduled for October 6.

The top three teams and three non-district qualifiers will advance to the state tournament scheduled for Oct. 21-22 at Northstar.

Division II Girls

HUBBARD — Div. The second women’s sectional golf tournament is Thursday at Pine Lakes Golf Course.

Columbiana, Lisbon, East Palestine, Leetonia, Salem, Sebring, South Range, Southern, United and West Branch will participate.

The top four teams and four non-qualified teams will advance to the Sable Creek District scheduled for October 6.

The district will advance the top three teams and top three individuals not on qualifying teams to the state tournament scheduled for Oct. 21-22 at Ohio State University’s Gray Course.
