Goelz League played the best ball format

Kevin Miller, Tim McHugh, John Hibler and John Hartzler scored 11 under to win the Foursome 2 Best Balls Net format in Wednesday’s Charlie Goelz League at Zanesville CC.

Second place was Greg Bell, Robb Huntsman, Jason Rosser and Othello Repuyan at 10 under, and third on a playoff scorecard was Clint Cameron, Dan Sylvester, Dan Bogle and Brian Wagner at 9 under.

Dan Bogle made the longest putt on No. 11 (23-foot-7) and Steve Baldwin was closest to the pin on No. 18 (22-foot-1).

ZDGA organizes a competition for two

The Zanesville District Golf Association will host the Two Man Better Ball Tournament on Saturday, May 7 at Jaycee’s. Departure times start around. 10:30 a.m., and optional skin set.

The cost is $100 per team, including the cart. Details and registration available at www.zdga.org.

Formation of the Dresden Dorados swimming team

The Dresden Dorados swim team, ages 6-18, will have a 10 a.m. to noon wetsuit fitting and 11 a.m. briefing on Saturday, April 30 at the Dresden Pool.

Swimmers must be able to swim at least one pool length unaided. Registration is $120 for the first swimmer in your family, $100 for the second, $90 for the third and $50 for each additional swimmer. Registration includes a DORADO t-shirt and team cap. League fee is $13 and will be assessed upon registration. Registrations after May 22 will incur a $25 late fee.

Crystal Spring Leagues Form

The Tuesday league, a 4-man team on Tuesday nights, has tee times at 5:30 p.m. There will be a meeting/practice round at 5:30 p.m. on April 26 and the league will start on May 3. The league is always looking for teams. for this league.

The Wednesday League, 2 Man Team Wednesday night, is looking for teams. There will be a meeting at 5:30 p.m. on April 27 and league play will begin on May 4.

The course is also looking to start a women’s/mixed league this season. It will be a team of 2 people who will play on Thursday evening. We need 12-16 pairs to start a league.
