CHARLOTTE, North Carolina – The Marshall University women’s golf team wrapped up the fall at the Charlotte Invitational on Tuesday.

“I’m really proud of the fight I saw today off the team,” said women’s golf head coach Herd. Brooke Burkhammer said. “We showed resilience and finished the fall season with a better round. Now we are resting and returning to work to prepare for the spring season while finishing the semester with strong academic results.”

First-year student Olivia Kochan closed the event with an even par 72 in the final round to finish tied for 22nd.

Second year Emily McLatchey had three birdies during the event en route to finishing tied for 26th.

First-year student Abbey Bull had three birdies in the first round of the tournament.
