ST HELENA ISLAND, South Carolina – UNCW took two strokes off their score from Sunday’s first round but couldn’t make up ground as leaders College of Charleston posted a 14-under-par 274 in the middle round of the championships. Colonial Athletic Association Monday at the Cotton Dike Course.

Patrick Sparks lead four Seahawks with par or better rounds with a three-under 69. Landon Robbins and Sander Akeren were two cents followed by Walker Isley at par.

Sparks moved up to third while Isley fell back to a tie for fourth. Robbins, meanwhile, jumped six spots in a tie for 10th place.

CofC’s Nevill Ruiter and Kieron van Wyk are first and second respectively, while Zach Reuland is tied for fourth.

The third and final round will begin at 8 a.m. on holes 1 and 10 while the Seahawks will start at 9:12 a.m. on hole one alongside leader CofC and individuals James Madison.
