Stafford, VA—The Virginia State Open has announced that CapTech Ventures, Inc. (CapTech) will be the presenting sponsor for this year’s event.
The Virginia State Open presented by CapTech is the premier golf tournament in the Mid-Atlantic region co-hosted by the Virginia State Golf Association (VSGA) and the Middle Atlantic PGA (MAPGA). This year’s event will take place July 15-17 at Independence Golf Club in Midlothian, Virginia.

The field is made up of 144 amateurs and professionals who make the field via exemptions or qualifiers. Evan Beck of Virginia Beach, Va., is the defending champion.
