MUNCIE, Indiana — The Ball State women’s golf team returned Saturday to the White Fang Golf Course at the Rio Verde Country Club. Liz Kim and Kiah Parrot are tied for 11th overall after two rounds of the Rio Verde Invitational, with the Cardinals sitting ninth.

Parrott shot up the standings after scoring 72 (E) in round two. She added four birdies and now has five for the tournament. She started the day tied for 36th and is currently tied for 11th, a jump of 25 places. His two-round total is 149 (+5).

Kim produced another solid round, as she posted a mark of 74 (+2). She moved up seven places from 18th, tied for 11th. She has a two-day score of 149 (+5). She picked up two more birdies today and has five in total for the two days. Kim recorded the only eagle of the tournament so far as she broke through from 51 yards on the par-5 12th.

Morgana Lewis is currently tied for 54th after two rounds. Dylan Armstrong is tied for 58th, while Hadley Moritz tied for 76th.

The par-72, 6,001-yard course continued to be tough as no team in the 18-team field is under par after two rounds.

The Cardinals will be back in action for day three of the Rio Verde Invitational on Sunday. It will be a tee shot at 10:30 a.m. and BSU will start on holes seven, eight and nine. Live stats from the Rio Verde Invitational can be found on Golfstat or by clicking here.
