DELPHOS – Matt Mullen and Carson Harmon each shot a par 71 to tie for the low round during the McDonald’s Lima Junior Golf Association Junior Series Bach Promotional Merchandise Open held at Delphos Country Club .

Mullen defeated Harmon in the playoffs to win the Boys Division 16-18.

Bridget Mulcahy won the Girls 16-18 title with a 76. Jordan Hemmelgarn was second with an 84.

Brody Miller was the boys 14-15 champion with an 81. Tyce McClain was second with an 84.

In the nine-hole par 36 competition, Evan Altenburger beat Paul Stechschulte for the boys’ title 12-13 after every 42 shots.

Kallie McKinley, who shot a 54, was the only 15-and-under female player.

Race returns in Limaland

LIMA — After taking the day off last week, Limaland Motorsports Park returns to action tonight for the first tribute to longtime competition manager and track guru Gene Frankhart.

Scheduled to compete are the Ohio Logistics NRA 360 Sprint Invaders, Northwest Physical Therapy DIRTcar UMP Modifieds and the Lock Sixteen Thunderstocks.

Pit doors open at 4:30 p.m. and grandstand entry will be available from 5 p.m. Hot laps are scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m. with the race at 7:30 p.m.

General admission for ages 16 and up will be $12. Admission for 11-15 year olds is $6 and 10 year olds and admission is free. Passes for all ages are $30. Visit limaland.com for more information.
