DIFFICULT LOSS for our guys at LSU. Our defense started strong but got tired as the game progressed. Classless, bush league move by LSU continuing to throw the ball in the 4th quarter as the game was out of control. Alabama plays at LSU later in the season, so what happens happens. Go tide!
THE REACTION by the Buffalo Bills’ offensive coordinator in the stand after his team’s loss to the Miami Dolphins is comparable to how UNM football fans feel after watching the Lobos’ horrific performance (2 first downs and 88 yards total attack) against LSU.

INASMUCH AS an avid golfer and big fan of Lobo, watching the ladies and gents play in their annual McGuire and Tucker Invitational Golf Tournaments is an absolute delight. Seeing quality golf up close and not dealing with a gallery drunk like at the Phoenix Waste Management Open is so nice.

UNM COMPLETE in second place at the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate Golf Tournament and the Journal column focused on a player from New Mexico State who shot a 67 in the final round, who then said it was nice to beat the Lobos? Unlike the PGA Tour, collegiate tournaments are measured by team play. As the Aggies headed home to Las Cruces, let the record show again that UNM finished second with a total of 856 for the tournament and NMSU finished sixth with a total of 868. Lobos won by 12 strokes. Say goodnight, Aggies.

THE THREE American League players who hit 60 or more home runs were all New York Yankees. The three National League players who hit more than 60 home runs were all cheaters. Major League Baseball’s single-season home run record is Roger Maris and 61 home runs. No, it is NOT complicated.
NATHAN THE misogynist wonders why the WNBA exists. The average NBA salary is $7.5 million while the average WNBA salary is $102,000, a difference of 750%. Isn’t this inequality enough? Maybe if the NBA cut a player from a team, it would pay around the 10 million that you’re so worried about? No, let’s go ahead and disband the WNBA instead because there isn’t enough discrimination against women and especially women of color in the world.
