Rotary Golf Event

Sunnyvale Rotary is hosting a golf tournament on April 18 at the Golf Club at Moffett Field, 934 Macon Road, Mountain View. The tournament benefits Sunnyvale Community Services, Sunnyvale Family Shelter, Sunnyvale Schools Literacy Programs, and other community service projects.

Registration is $150 and includes a cart, shooting balls, lunch and dinner. Dinner-only tickets are $40. Contests include hole-in-one, putt and longest drive.

Second Harvest Fundraiser

Second Harvest of Silicon Valley is looking to raise $1 million by April 13. If the food bank reaches this goal, the Khosla Family Foundation will match the amount.

Second Harvest still serves 60% more people than before the pandemic, predicts high need will continue into the future. The food bank serves approximately 400,000 people on average each month.

Letters from the polling center necessary

The Santa Clara County Registrar of Electors is looking for volunteer polling center couriers to pick up ballot bags from polling centers across the county from May 28 through June 7.

Volunteer couriers are required to complete the appropriate courier training prior to their start date. The 45-minute training sessions take place in person and online.
