MELBOURNE, Florida. – Purdue Women’s Golf sits in eighth place (+24) after 36 holes of the Columbia Classic. Senior Inez Wanamarta finished the first two rounds at 3-over, tied for 15th in the individual standings, to lead the Boilermakers.

After grinding 15 pars and three bogeys in her first round, Wanamarta found a few birdies in the second round on her way to an even par 72. She recorded four throughout the afternoon to counter four bogeys and break into the top 15.

Redshirt-Freshman Jocelyn Bruch shot a pair of 2s of 74 and is tied for 18th heading into the final round. She tied Wanamarta with four birdies in the first two rounds.

Daniela Ballesteros started his tournament 1-under through six holes before settling for a first-round 73 (+1). The junior birdied just one in the second round en route to a 79 (+7).

After a struggle in her morning round, Ashley Kozlowski rebounds in the afternoon. She razed 10 shots and shot a 2 of 74. In 36 holes, Kozlowski ranks fourth in the field with a par-3, playing the short holes at par.

Purdue ends play tomorrow at Duran Golf Club, starting at 8:30 a.m. ET. Paired with Northwestern and Boston, the Boilermakers start the tee shot on holes 8-10.
